Bindable and its portfolio of digital insurance products and technology services are growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Insurance Sales Agent to help bring us to the next level. We partner with some of the largest affinity groups and brands in the country and utilize unmatched technology to meet the insurance needs of their members and customers. This means that we have plenty of prospects to keep you busy and help you exceed your sales goals.

The ideal candidate is a team player, a respectful colleague, and always professional. In a start-up environment, flexibility and a desire to learn are musts. Servicing our growing clientele requires strong multitasking and organizational skills. Because we are a software company, agents need to have a level of technology savviness. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a sales pipeline beginning with initial client contact and ending with closing a sale 
  • Perform outbound calls to high-quality insurance leads (50%) and respond to inbound inquiries sourced from organic marketing channels (50%)
  • Engage with potential clients to assess their personal insurance needs and provide them with appropriate coverage options
  • Communicate the benefits of our service offering, our product offering, and our carrier relationships to potential clients

Qualifications

  • Associates degree required, relevant education and experience will be considered
  • At least one year of prior sales experience; minimum of two years of customer service experience 
  • P&C licensed a plus; prior insurance industry and/ or hospitality experience, willing to train and license
  • Ability to work well with others and support your colleagues
  • Willingness to continue education into the field of insurance to keep up with insurance industry standards
  • Adaptable and eager to learn as we frequently launch programs with new partners and carriers
  • Ability to multitask and meet timely deadlines that may arise on sales in progress
  • Knowledgeable of technological platforms and services in the insurance industry
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Bindable hosts two offices in Boston, MA (corporate) and Phoeniz, AZ as the preferred locations, however this role is open to remote opportunities within our current states
